INTRODUCTIONS:
I bet Aimless Again would be good bar buddies with The Leftovers. Aimless Again is a Port Jefferson based punk rock band that has been playing together since 2007. Jake Ferring (vocals/guitar), Seany Juevos/Sean Wuorio (drums), and Anth “Lost Boy” DeNaopoli (bass/synth/vocals) take a melodic approach to their music, including lots of alternative and pop punk influences. Aimless Again have three albums under their belts: BILL! (2011), The North Shore Demo (2013) and 2020 Future Punks (2018). Jake and his cousin Brian Ferring wrote and produced BILL! and The North Shore Demo together. 2020 Punks was recorded with Brian Crowe at The End Recording Studio, and “7 Lonely Days” the finale track was done with Frank Bones at VuDu Studios.
Aimless Again has stood the test of time, watching other bands form and disband over the course of a decade. They attribute their continued progress and dedication to the bonds of friendship the music is based on. They make music to help others through rough times, bringing people together and encouraging everyone to be their weird unique selves.
When asked what their favorite song to play was, the band provided very different answers:
Seany Juevos: My favorite song is “Outro” so I dont gotta listen to us anymore.
Jake Ferring: My favorite song is “Celebration” because i'm a party kinda guy.
Anthony “Lost Boy”: My favorite song is “Shredder” because I shred sick bass licks.
